after my stay, i thought about giving a raving review, but i just couldn’t. the room was basic and the air conditioning panel was confusing, but i expected at least a complimentary upgrade for my troubles. oh, and the noisy canal? very charming indeed—if you love being awakened at unGodly hours by screaming!

Oh man, the breakfast blew my mind—the Welsh pastries were so flakey and delicious! Plus, the hotel restaurant served up the best meal I had on the whole trip. And I can't forget the vibe of the courtyard. it was so cozy and perfect for outdoor dining.

Now, on the flip side, our room didn't match the photos at all. It was oddly shaped with just a stool—say goodbye to lounging! The air conditioning also had its quirks. Plus, the late-night street noise was off the charts. On checkout, we faced unexpected local fees, which felt sketchy for a supposedly all-inclusive rate.
